How to flash your phone with Odin



Attention!, The author of this guide is not responsible for the dead device, crooked hands, etc. All you did at your own risk!
Downloading:
1. Drivers for 5700 and Odin4.03 with Spica_ops (Attention. The archives are 2 OPS file, if you want to flash the firmware earlier than JC3 select spica.ops, if later that spica_jc3.ops)
2. Flash files

We set your phone to the Downloader mode
Click once:

Must see on the screen:


Wait for 10 sec and
Connecting your phone to PC via USB
If you have installed the first time, then put the driver.
After installation or to check - look in the Device Manager should see a MUST! two devices (red)


if not work the first time, then disable, wait 7 seconds and connect again, if again not work - turns off, take out the battery, and again (on -> connection)

Run Odin
If the driver is installed correctly (see previous item), then after the launch of Odin



Should see the COM port number (can be any) on a yellow background.
If it does not appear, check to install the drivers, sometimes helps to change the USB port.
In the future, you can run Odin to connect the phone, and by the appearance of "COMx" to control the connection process.

Select files:
- OPS: spica.ops (go into the archive)
- PHONE, BOOT, PDA, CSC - resp. of the firmware (tar files), if the firmware contains only one. tar file, select it as a PDA!

Click on START
The process has started, you should see at Odin, and on the phone: progress bar will move.
